Abstract
Law schools have been grappling with the topic of technology in the classroom for more than ten years. In this article, Professor Kristen Murray reports the results of a project she calls her "e-semester," during which she increased and intensified her use of technology in and in support of her courses. She focused on six technology-based enhancements: using a course website to eliminate paper from class distributions; designing Powerpoint-based lectures with student note-taking in mind; encouraging class discussion through a threaded discussion forum; grading electronically; integrating audio and video technology in class lectures; and implementing advanced in-class writing exercises.
