Life Cycle of Tourism - The Product

Abstract

Every thing produced gets destroyed everything invented gets replaced, every beings which takes birth attains death and everything which grows decays similarly everything discovered gets mutilated. This holds true for not physical products but also stands true for tourist destination. Tourist destinations can also be referred as product. My paper will try to find out the reason as to why a tourist destination over a period of time looses its attraction. Though the study is based on Sikkim, the mathematical model which I am trying to project may be applied in all tourist spots. The model has developed after making a careful research about all the important aspects of tourism.

It will state a service industry/ intangible product also has the four stages of life cycle which is akin to growth, development, maturation and eventually decline. The reason behind the rise and fall of a tourist destination and the causes for it. My paper will try to provide a sustainable solution.
