Abstract

All studies deal with matter, causality and time only. Causal modeling refers to establishing causal relationships among the given variables. Causal modeling has been done using path analysis method, analysis of commonality method, system dynamics method, causal diagram, causal loop diagram, structural equation modeling, graphical modeling, etc. This study proposes a new modeling technique to complement the existing modeling techniques. The proposed modeling technique is named "Half-Arrow Modeling Technique" (HAMT). This technique is found to effectively complement the existing modeling techniques rather than substituting them. Three applications of the proposed technique are provided.
