Abstract

This paper (in French) analyses the independence of Kosovo from an international law perspective. The paper discusses both whether Kosovo has a right to independence, and accordingly discusses what the consequences of the unilateral declaration of independence are from an international legal perspective. It equally discusses the question whether recoginition of Kosovo's independence by third states could be seen as a breachof international law.
