Abstract

The Arkansas Freedom of Information Act, Fifth Edition, is the standard text for journalists, the Bench, and the Bar for the interpretation and application of the FOIA in Arkansas. This edition built upon its predecessors, incorporating changes in later legislative enactments as well as judicial interpretations, to present the synthesis of the Arkansas law of public records and meetings. This is chapter 7 regarding special issues in electronic record access. [Please note that this chapter is no longer updated; the sixth edition of this book was published in 2017.]
