Abstract

This is one of the first law review articles to critique the U.S. News & World Report rankings of American law schools, as well as several other law school ranking schemes that were in vogue during the mid to late 1990s. Although some of the information contained in the article is out of date, the commentary anticipates the emerging influence of the U.S. News rankings on legal education.
