Abstract

Corruption affect everybody, everywhere, every day and always. There are many problems in Moldova which affect its reforms towards becoming a real democracy, a state law and a functioning market economy. In this article I decided to write about corruption as a phenomenon affecting both the economic and the political reforms.

Looking in the past, one must admit that corruption existed under communism as well. However, in the transition time, after USSR collapsed in 1991, corruption started flourishing and it became a common phenomenon.
