Abstract
For the 10th Anniversary Issue of this journal, I was asked to discuss the ten books or articles that have most influenced my academic work. Since academics like the mix of intellectual and personal gossip such ventures provide, I am posting my selections and discussions. Other contributors to this project include Justice Stephen Breyer, Catherine MacKinnon, Philip Bobbitt, Jeremy Waldron, Seyla Benhabib, Sam Issacharoff, Martin Shapiro, and Michel Rosenfeld.
