Abstract

This module introduces students to two related but distinct areas of business and entrepreneurship, social enterprise and social entrepreneurship. Both the latter claim a distinction from or within the former in terms of their focus on "social objects". While both have a history, they become of increasing global political, social and economic interest, and knowledge of this area will offer significant intellectual capital to students.
