FGV DIREITO SP Law School Legal Studies Research Paper Series

The FGV DIREITO SP Law School Legal Studies Research Paper Series (ISSN 2358-6796), published by São Paulo Law School of Fundação Getulio Vargas - FGV DIREITO SP, aims to increase the quality of Brazilian professional and academic research on Law and Legal Studies. These Working Papers are published here in order to foster a deep public discussion on ongoing research. FGV DIREITO SP believes that only through open debate on theoretical models, methods, sources, data or interpretative conclusions it will be possible to better academic knowledge on Law and Legal Studies. The idea is to develop an effective and dynamic forum which brings together our Professors, Researchers, Students and alumni and national and international scholars. We invite all those who might be interested in the topics presented here, not only to offer their critique of these texts and to send comments to their authors, but also to send their own contributions, in order to intensify national and international debates on legal issues with intellectuals outside FGV DIREITO SP's academic community. Since they are working papers, it is not allowed to quote them, except under express authorization from their authors.

We welcome Working Papers related to FGV DIREITO SP's research area and authored by FGV DIREITO SP's academic community (professors, researchers, alumni and current students). Texts authored by third parties should be expressly nominated by some member from FGV DIREITO SP's academic community.

Preference will be given to Working Papers written in English, although Portuguese texts are also accepted. All texts should refer to ongoing researches and should contain (i) a title in English; (ii) an abstract written in English - up to 1000 characters with spaces - and (iii) up to five keywords, also written in English. The main text must be written (i) in Times New Roman, size 12, (ii) with 1,5 spacing between paragraphs, while footnotes must be written (i) in Times New Roman, size 10, (ii) with single spacing.

The first page must contain the title of the Working Paper and the authors' names and their respective institutional affiliations, and the papers should be followed, in the end, by a complete list of references.
