Problems with the Measurement of Financial Liquidity in Poland as Illustrated by the Case of Company XJoanna M. WyrobekCracow University of Economics August 1, 2007 Bussines [!] in a Colaborative World / ed. Janusz TECZKE. - Cracow : Fundacja Akademii Ekonomicznej, 2007. - pp 527-536 Abstract: The purpose of this article is to present real-life problems encountered when trying to establish the precise moment at which a firm loses financial liquidity. Unfortunately, definitions of liquidity do not provide us with a clear enough picture of when a company actually loses its ability to meet its obligations on time. This problem is of particular importance in court, where identifying the exact point at which a company becomes unable to meet its liabilities is absolutely crucial.
