Abstract:
This is the second part of an article describing current reform of company law in the UK. In the first part (ECFR 2004, 391) an overall review was given of current developments, followed by a description of the key characteristics of the British system and an indication of its related strengths and weaknesses. In this part the article describes and assesses the implications of the key responses to those weaknesses as embodied in current British reforms and new developments (section IV), and draws conclusions (section V).
