Building a Tower of Babel or Building a Discipline? Talking About Legal Writing

Boyd School of Law UNLV Marquette Law Review, Vol. 85, No. 4, Summer 2002 Abstract: This article examines the language legal writing professors use and create to teach legal writing. It concludes the benefits of creating a legal writing language outweigh the risk of confusion, because legal writing professors are actually creating the emerging discipline as they create new language.
