Kidnapped in Colombia

Abstract:     
Dan and Melissa Woodruff an American couple moved to Medellin, Colombia, when Dan was offered a position with his company to work with a Colombian partner. Dan was kidnapped by Colombian rebel forces and endures months of captivity as Melissa and others attempted to negotiate his release. Without kidnapping and ransom insurance the negotiation process was difficult and ended very badly.
