Abstract:     
This chapter on the Dutch Equal Treatment Law descibes as its aim the freedom of discrimination in the areas of labour, housing and education. Does the law offer employees, tenants and students safeguards in an appropriate way? And what is the effect of the law on the position of employers, landlords and schools? Does the law take their legitimate interests into account? For example, is the law clear enough on what people should live up to?
