Abstract:
The purpose of this Article is to review the evolution of the Model Nonprofit Corporation Acts (both past and pending) in relation to the Model Business Corporation Act in its various iterations and to the origins of the nonprofit corporation vis a vis other formats with different histories. The goal is to find an ideal structure for a modern entity that is to be operating for a variety of nonprofit purposes.
