Student Participation through the Legal News Portfolio

Sampson University of Arkansas School of Law Perspectives: Teaching Legal Research and Writing, Vol. 15, No. 3, Spring 2007 Abstract: This short article summarizes the use of news stories in a law school classroom, to generate student engagement at the start of the hour and to provide students with practice in professional judgment and public speaking.
