Abstract:
This paper presents an overview of the legal and policy issues associated with online content, such as music, including specifically copyright issues associated with peer-to-peer distribution software such as Grokster. We conclude that robust copyright laws (and the enforcement of same) are essential to the development of a healthy marketplace for online content.
