Abstract:     
Loral Space and Communications illustrates the financial distress, Chapter 11 bankruptcy and successful emergence from court proceedings. This case explores the conflicts and disputes that often arise during bankruptcy. It also explores valuation methods of a finically distressed company's debt and equity.
