October, 07 2008

Abstract:
The discussion in this paper examines the significance of creativity, innovation and enterprise from a global economic perspective in relative proximity to its implication for teaching and learning practice. As it stems from an inquiry into the nature of teaching and learning in simulation gaming environments, the ensuing discussion begins with its association to the main study. In discussing creativity the main inquiry makes a distinction between the creativity of genius, 'high creativity', and that which is inherent to common people, 'low creativity' - the emphasis is on the later.

Keywords: creativity, divergent thinking, problem-solving, simulation gaming, e-learning, knowledge economy, globalisation
