Abstract:     
This paper explores the prospects for growth of securities trading markets in the developing world generally by attempting a case study of the Nairobi Stock Exchange (NSE). The paper also analyzes attempts at regional integration of capital markets in the East African Community and their impact on prospects for the growth of the NSE.
