Abstract:
While in law school I distinctly remember hearing of the virtues of the West Digest System. I drank the Kool-Aid. Now, I no longer share the groupthink. The Dabney article came out after my perception of the Digest had changed from amazement to a rational recognition of its unproven limitations.
