Action for Impacts under the United Nations Fish Stocks Agreement William C. G. Burns Santa Clara University - Law School April 10, 2009 Abstract: Given the ineffectiveness of institutional responses to climate change at the international level, as well as inadequate domestic responses, States and NGOs have begun to explore potential causes of action under judicial and quasi-judicial fora. This article looks at a potential cause of action under the United Nations Fish Stocks Agreement.
