The Premises of Renewable Energy Sources Market Development in Poland in the Light of Sustainable Development Idea

Abstract:     
Renewable energy sources (RES) play more and more larger part in structure of energy deliveries. Some RES technologies reached the level of competitiveness approximate to technologies based on fossil fuels resources. Process of gradual transformation from economy based on fossil fuels resources to economy based on ecological technologies, satisfying social needs, assuring the diversification of sources of energy, energy safety in not only local scale, but and regional, and even in long-term perspective - in national scale; is already perceptible in Po-land. The creating of the competitive market of renewable sources of energy, taking into account fulfilment of mentioned requirements, assures the realization of sustainable development conception.
