Abstract:     
This Article discusses the problem of sexual relationships between adult, competent patients and properly trained and licensed psychotherapists, examines the failure of social control devices to deter the activity and their success in inhibiting the production of information about it, suggests an alternative community policy and, finally, proposes a means of carrying out that policy.
