Abstract:
A critical success factor for any regional or megaregion governance initiative will be the collection and synthesis of good quality data from numerous sources on a wide range of issues. The rise of new information technologies related to the Web makes collecting and utilizing data from disparate sources a reality. A threshold requirement will be the efforts by all governments and public sector actors to make any and all data readily accessible and reusable.
