Population, Poverty and Envrionment, the Interlinkages

Abstract:     
World population grew with ever increasing speed in the last century and the feeding up of this increased population required to utilize the world’s economic, social and natural resources accordingly in abrupt amounts. The distribution of these resources and the population density is not uniform across the globe and countries with higher population have witnessed with increased pressure on their natural resource bases and this interlinked their economic growth and natural resources to the increasing population. This essay summarizes some theoretical considerations in this area highlighting potential areas for research and policy recommendations.
