Abstract:
Those paying close attention to speeches delivered before the United Nations General Assembly can pick up a fair amount of cultural data which, suitably collected and collated, can be as instructive as rewarding. In this paper a content analysis reveals in detail many lead cultural presuppositions as between honor-based (H-B) and dignity-based (D-B) moieties.
