Self-regulation combined with social responsibility, could become the main concepts for the European model of corporate criminal liability. Such a model - one involving self-regulation & social responsibility - is based on the idea that lack of organization constitutes the basis for corporate liability. Furthermore, as a matter of criminal policy and in accordance with recent European and American legislative developments, selfregulation could be considered as an effective measure in preventing and detecting corporate crimes
