Abstract:
This paper makes use of a concise bibliographical revision in its task of describing and analysing the state of the Brazilian regional aviation. We study aspects such market structure, supply and demand conditions, the competitive conduct and performance of the firms, as well as public policies directed to this segment of the scheduled aviation. The text aims at contributing for the development of a model of industrial organization that satisfactorily represents the segment.
