Abstract:     
This article deals with insider trading regulation and examines the problems of effectively enforcing these rules through an in-depth, realistic study of the first insider trading case in Argentine . Using a law and economics framework, the case study “Comision Nacional de Valores, CNV v. Establecimiento Modelo Terrabusi S.A., Terrabusi,” is illustrative about the conditions under which the Coase Theorem would work.
