BILATERAL AND REGIONAL TRADE AGREEMENTS: COMMENTARY AND ANALYSIS, pp. 308-341, Simon Lester, Bryan Mercurio, eds., Cambridge University Press, 2009
This chapter seeks to illustrate certain trends in international intellectual property by highlighting and considering some of the more popular, important and potentially far-reaching TRIPS-Plus provisions that have recently been negotiated in bilateral and regional trade agreements. Our analysis focuses on three areas of IP - copyright, geographical indications and patents - as well as briefly considering overarching issues of enforcement.
