Abstract:
Much legal writing is flat and boring. Law students and lawyers need to punch up their writing by adopting a vigorous, forceful style. This brief article illustrates the point by contrasting Professor Kingsfield's dramatic explanation of the Socratic method in The Paper Chase with the Harvard Law School catalog's description of its signature pedagogy.
