Abstract
European integration has brought management of cultural diversity issues into actuality. The European society is involving in an evolution process that put in common a plurality of worlds, local regional and national cultures which all together constitute the essence of European culture. The postmodern society is essentially a community of minority which discover the culture of alterity that replace the anxiety regionalization, intolerance and suspicion. Europe is meant to be more than a supranational and transpersonal construction. To be viable, European project must be based on a specific set of common values and on European cultural model
