This book analyses and comments on several issues of Belgian Family Property Law, including Forced Heirship Rules of Parents, of Surviving Spouse in second Marriage, Same Sex Marriage, Change of Marital Contract, Impact of Domestic Violence on Property Distribution upon Divorce, Sanity in case of Wills, Presumption of illegal influence on Wills, etc. All topics are introduced by a realistic case in order to illustrate how the legal rules may be applied in the day to day practice.
