Abstract

This research tries to study the relation between emotional intelligence and organizational commitment. It initially deals with some issues as EQ in the workplace, EQ and leadership, organizational commitment and its components. Then, presenting an analytical model, the relation between emotional intelligence and organizational commitment and their components are shown. Findings indicated that generally, there is a significant relation between emotional intelligence and organizational commitment. In other words, with 99 percent of reliability, it can be said that employees with high emotional intelligence, have higher organizational commitment.
