The last of four articles comparing an example from the Federal Rules of Evidence with the "restyled" version.The article identifies 28 drafting deficiencies in Rule 404(a) but also acknowledges drafting flaws in some of the restyled rules. Those rules are scheduled to take effect in December 2011.
