Abstract:
In this symposium organized by the Center for Human Rights of the University of Chile School of Law five individuals from academia, activism, politics, and the judiciary answer a set of questions about the impact of same sex marriage in family law and the meaning of civil marriage. In addition to Saez, the Symposium included Chilean Professor Hernan Corral, Argentinian Congress woman Marcela Rodriguez, former South African Constitutional Court Justice Albie Sachs, and Chilean LGBT activist and leader Rolando Jimenez.
