Abstract:     
This paper is interested to study the origins, evolution and future of policy modeling from a theoretical and technical perspective. Hence, we are taking such as main bibliography source the journal of policy modeling that for long time is doing a remarkable contribution by offer different research topics, research focuses, methods, methodologies, techniques and models in the last past thirty two years (1979-2011). Basically, the main objective of this paper is to analyze the trend of policy modeling according to fifty three variables proposed by this paper.
