Abstract:     
This paper tells the role of educational institutions of all levels in human development and in eradicating the illiteracy in the whole world. This role can be best played when people at large realize their responsibility to educate the fellow human beings who can neither read not write.Once a feeling comes, the activity starts and a change occurs. For any change it is the people who have to change themselves to meet the challenge.
