Abstract

This article published in the Michigan Bar Journal predicts that the Carnegie Foundation report "Educating Lawyers" will be a watershed in the practical education of lawyers. Legal education has faced other paradigm shifts in professionalism and clinical studies. It will now do so once again, recommitting to a practice-preparation mission integrating knowledge, skills, and ethics.

Keywords: legal education, integrating ethics, practice preparation
