Hofstra Univ. Legal Studies Research Paper No. 12-05

Abstract:
This paper compared the United States and United Kingdom's corporate governance, focusing on a 10 year retrospective on the failed efforts of Sarbanes-Oxley. It proposes a modification of the United States system by incorporating both UK law and a federal body with a mandate akin to the E.E.O.C to rapidly hear and decide corporate governance standards.
