Religion and law are a common topic of academic writing. This article, however, examines a different but related field -- Theology and Law. The topic of theology and law differs from the topic of religion and law in that it examines religious themes such as Sin and Grace, focusing on the divine themes and their interaction with law rather than law’s interaction with religion itself. This article draws out and introduces common themes in the study of theology and law.
