A Cash-Lite World of Safe, Cheap and Convenient Payments for All

Abstract:
This paper puts a spotlight on the importance of promoting ubiquitous digital retail payments in emerging markets. Moving people from cash onto a safer, cheaper and more convenient payments fabric should be an important enabler for economic growth and business cohesion. We term our vision LiFi – one where people can manage their liquidity and payments with a high degree of fidelity and low cost.
