ICT Efforts in Education: Ensuring and Maintaining Quality

Abstract:     
In the wake of the revised and ambitious scheme of Information and Communication Technology (ICT) enabled learning in government and government-aided schools, during the 11th plan period (2007-12) and further, this paper addresses with the help of few case studies some of the expected problems that may come to the fore during and after implementing the scheme. This paper also suggests certain directions for ensuring good quality result out of the ICT efforts of the government.
