Towards a Stock Flow Consistent Model for Ireland

This short paper outlines the theoretical and technical issues associated with creating a stock flow consistent macroeconomic model for a small open economy like Ireland. We present the initial results of a stripped down version of the model, and discuss the path along which the model may develop.
