Controlling Financial Chaos: The Power and Limits of LawSteven L. SchwarczDuke University - School of Law May 16, 2012 Wisconsin Law Review, No. 3, 2012 Abstract: This essay, which is based in part on the keynote speech I delivered in October at the European Central Bank conference on regulation of financial services, examines how the law can help to control financial chaos.
