Abstract:
Authors looking for a way to showcase their publications should consider establishing a Google Scholar Citations (GSC) website profile. Once this “Facebook wall for scholars” is set up, Google’s search robots automatically import links to all of the author’s articles available through Google Scholar and add links to future articles as they become available. This primer explains how GSC works and compares GSC profiles with Social Science Research Network (SSRN) author pages.
