On Japanese Soil Contamination Investigation Mechanism

Abstract:     
Japan is one of the countries in the Southeast Asia even around which has specific legalization on soil contamination. Its Soil Contamination Countermeasures Law enacted in Feb.15, 2002 has a lot of provisions about the soil contamination investigation. Indeed, thoughtful and reliable soil contamination Investigation is the basic precondition for validate prevention to the soil contamination. This article discussed the soil contamination investigation system under the Soil Contamination Countermeasures Law, by which provide some experiences for our Soil Contamination legislation.
