Abstract:
Imagine being able to create a new law library collection from the ground up. So many law library directors have to allocate their annual budgets to collection upkeep costs that they can rarely add new material. Directors in start-up libraries have a unique opportunity to meet the needs of a new law school constitutents and to keep traditional costs down if they plan carefully from the start what they will add to the collection.
